Fender Custom Shop 2016 MBS 1959 Telecaster Closet Classic Master Built by Greg Fessler

This is the "1959 Telecaster Closet Classic" model built by master builder Greg Fessler.

A reissue of the 1959 Telecaster, it features a slab rosewood neck and a Closet Classic finish that recreates the fine weather checks and minor bruising on the entire body.

The well-proportioned quarter-sawn maple neck has a 60 STYLE OVAL “C” profile, the dark shade rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5R radius, and the frets are narrow-tall type.

The pickups are original, with TWISTED TELE on the neck and 51 NOCASTER on the bridge.

There is a red color transfer and multiple paint peels on the body end, as well as tiny dents throughout the body that are unlikely to have been caused by the relic process.

The frets are in good condition with around 80% remaining, and there are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
