Gibson USA 1997 Joe Perry Les Paul

This is the 'Joe Perry' signature Les Paul model, featuring a translucent black burst finish and black hardware.

It is equipped with a '57 Classic pickup in the neck position and a Special Design Humbucker (based on the 498T) in the bridge position, and has a highly distinctive control layout.

- one tone control (push/pull to toggle the active mid-boost on/off)
- A mid-boost control knob that provides frequency changes similar to a half-pressed wah pedal.

There is a battery compartment on the back of the control panel.

The back of the body near the endpin has a large dent accompanied by significant paint peeling and paint haze, as well as minor dents and scuffs reflecting its age.
