Fender Custom Shop 2011 Rory Gallagher Stratocaster

This is the 'Rory Gallagher Stratocaster' model, a reproduction of the 1961 Stratocaster that the Irish blues-rock guitarist Rory Gallagher acquired at the age of 15. He continued to use it as his main stage guitar throughout his life.

This model has been meticulously crafted to capture all the characteristics of the original instrument, including the worn-down body finish from years of playing, medium-jumbo frets, Sperzel tuners (with a Gotoh locking peg on the sixth string only) and added string guides on the third and fourth strings. It is equipped with three custom-wound '60s single-coil pickups.

There are several tiny dents on the sides and back of the body, and some corrosion on the metal parts, but these are not very noticeable due to the aggressive relic finish.

The frets have been levelled and over 80% are intact. The neck and truss rod are both in good condition, ensuring excellent playability.

The neck joint screws have been replaced.
