Fender Custom Shop 2013 Michael Landau 1968 Stratocaster Relic

This is the signature model of Michael Landau, a hugely popular studio and session musician.

Based on his own 1968 Stratocaster, the relic finish meticulously recreates the weather checking and large areas of paint chipping across the entire body.

The asymmetrical neck shape (thicker on the sixth string side and thinner on the first string side) makes it ideal for a “shake-hand” playing style like Landau’s. It has narrow-tall frets and a 7.25-inch radius fingerboard.

It is equipped with hand-wound 'Fat 50s' pickups by Josefina Campos.

The guitar is in excellent condition with no signs of wear and tear, and the neck and truss rod are both in perfect working order.
