Gibson Custom Shop 2023 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul

This “1959 Les Paul” model features a Factory Burst finish, which recreates the distinctive reddish hue of the original 1959 Cherry Sunburst model.

Although aged and VOS finishes have become more common in recent years, this model has a glossy finish on the parts and paintwork.

The neck features the “Authentic 59 Medium ‘C’” profile, which has been used since 2018 and is slightly thinner than the ‘59 models produced prior to that.

It is equipped with un-potted Custombuckers.

There is a 7 mm diameter paint chip on the back of the first fret on the neck and several pockmarks and tiny dents on the top of the body.

Around 90% of the frets remain intact and there are no issues with the neck or truss rod, so playability is good.
