Rickenbacker 1990 355JL John Lennon

This is the “355JL John Lennon Limited” model, produced in a limited run of 2,000 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of John Lennon’s birth.

It features a special design, including a pickguard adorned with an illustration of Lennon, and flathead screws used to secure the pickups and truss rod cover. The medium-scale neck accommodates the longer scale length; the bridge position has been moved back and the spacing between the pickups widened.

There are numerous scuffs on the entire body, as well as paint melting caused by a guitar stand on the body end and the back of the neck, shallow dents on the body sides and the inside of the G-string horn, tarnish and slight corrosion on the metal parts, and yellowing of the plastic parts.

There is a very slight dent in the low positions of the plain strings. However, the remaining frets are over 80% intact and there are no issues with the neck or truss rod.
