Fender USA 2008 Vintage Hot Rod 1962 Stratocaster

This is the 'Vintage Hot Rod 1962 Stratocaster' model. It retains the vintage look and sound of a 1962 Stratocaster, but incorporates modern specifications tailored to today's players.

Based on the specifications of the American Vintage Series, the following changes have been made:

- The fingerboard has been changed from 7.25R to a slightly flatter 9.5R.
- Vintage-sized frets have been changed to medium-jumbo frets.
- The middle pickup has reverse-wound, reverse-polarity (RW/RP) windings, which provide a noise-cancelling effect when the half-tone switch is selected.
- It features a C-shaped neck with a thick, solid grip.

The neck grip shows signs of wear and tear, including paint peeling, several dents on the tip of the headstock, dents of various sizes across the entire body and a deep gouge on the tip of the sixth-string horn (on the back of the body) that has reached the wood. These features give the instrument a well-worn appearance.

The frets have been re-fretted and retain over 80% of their original height, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.

The back panel and mounting screws are missing.
