2017年、最初にご紹介するのはやっぱり(?)レスポール！

2014 Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1959 Les Paul VOS Hand Selected (Bourbon Burst) です。

バーボンバーストってやっぱりカッコいいですよね。

しかもこちらの一本は”ハンドセレクト”。

選定された材を使っているだけあって、この杢目。美しいです。

しかもこちら、見た目だけでなく出音もまた上品。

3.83kgとレスポールにしてはかなり軽量なだけあり、中域に膨らみのある甘く、そして空気感のある鳴りがします。

また、低音域がタイトなカスタムバッカー・ピックアップとの組み合わせが良いバランスで、楽器の持つ鳴りを邪魔することなく、素直にアウトプットしてくれます。

店頭でも立ち止まってご覧になるお客様を多く見かけるこの一本。

My first pick for 2017 had to be a good Les Paul.
Here’s a 2014 Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1959 Les Paul VOS Hand Selected (Bourbon Burst).

I just love Bourbon Bursts, and this “Hand Selected” guitar has a great looking grain on the top. It’s a beauty!

Playability-wise, this one feels as nice as it looks.

Pretty lightweight for a Les Paul weighing 8.44 lbs, it’s got a good sweet tone with an open airiness.

The Custombucker pickups give it a tight low-end, which makes a good combination with the body resonance.
