このギターのディテールを皆さんにお伝えするにはたくさんの写真が必要です。
トップのキルトメープルはベルベットのような質感で、ネックのカーリーメイプルの杢目は思わず引きこまれてしまいそうになります。
この手のものはショーケースに入れて飾られてそうに見えますが、実際に弾いても素敵な逸品です。
確かに、そこのあなたの彼女さんや奥様のように、連れて歩くだけで鼻高々なところもありますよ。
でも、音もさすがはPRSといった感じで、ハムの音は暴れることなくとても良いバランスで、コイルスプリットさせてシングルにしても弱々しく痩せた感じにはなりません。
先週辺りにご紹介したモダンイーグルよりかは少々膨よかな低音域を持っていて、ロングノートにビブラートをかけてサステインをホールドしてあげると、いい具合に空気が揺れてくれます。
このギターを一言で表すなら「豊か」という言葉でしょうか。
見た目はゴージャスだし、音も倍音豊か。

2014 Paul Reed Smith Private Stock #5190 Violin II QMT (Dirty Blonde)
Here’s a beauty that takes a lot of photos for its details to get across to you guys.
The quilted maple top has a nice, symmetrical, almost velvet-like quality, and the grain on the neck’s curly maple is just stunning.
This one might look like one of those that are kept safely in a showcase, but it feels nice in your hands too.
Yes, it looks gorgeous enough to make you feel good playing it, like being with that girlfriend or wife of you and you and yours.
But not only is it a beauty, it’s a player too.
It’s got that balanced PRS humbucker tone that just rings without overwhelming.
Pull on the tone knob and you got the coil-split single coil tone that isn’t flimsy.
This one had a fuller low-end than the Modern Eagle I posted about a week ago, and that low-end gives you a great vibration when you hold on to a note with vibrato.
One word I would use to describe this guitar would be “richness”.
It is rich in appearance and tone.
