本日ご紹介するのは
2011 Teye Guitars Electric Gypsy T-Series La Pirata (Natural)

 

まあ、ただのゼマイティスもどきだと思う方もいらっしゃると思います。

確かに似てるし、無理もないです。

 

でもでも、このギター、それだけじゃない。

実際に弾くとなかなか面白いですよ。

 

ピックアップは交換されていて、交換されたものをこちらで特定できなかったのですが、P.A.F.タイプで出力はさほど強いものではありません。

音はバランスが良くてレンジも広く、そしてトップのメタルプレートと相まって乾いた金属的な倍音が楽しめます。

 

特に面白かったのは”ムード”ノブ。

こちらは全開でハムバッカートーン、ゼロでテレっぽいシングルコイルトーンになります。

 

まさに気分一つで色んな味に変わってくれる訳です。

My pick for today is…
2011 Teye Guitars Electric Gypsy T-Series La Pirata (Natural)

 

At first you might think it’s one of those Zemaitis look-alikes.

Of course, you’re not entirely wrong.

 

But this thing’s got its own uniqueness, and it was a very fun guitar to play.

 

The pickup has been replaced, and though we could not identify what it is, it isn’t a very hot one.

It has a nice, wide and balanced sonic range, and shimmery harmonics thanks to the metal top.

 

The fun part was the “mood” knob.

Dime it for full humbucker tone, and zero it for single-coil, Tele-ish tone.

 

All in all, this one has tons of character and originality.
